MUSCAT--------November 23, 2010------- The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Diploma training program continues its successful formula in the Sultanate of Oman due to its comprehensive and specialized agenda.
The training program organized by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center at the Arab Omani Institute for Administrative Training in Al-Watiyah region in Muscat is held over a period of eight weeks (120 training hours) and its curriculum is approved by the International Examinations Center at the Cambridge University.
A host of trainees interested in developing their computer skills as per the international standards of IT skills training who are taking part in the program will soon sit for the exams as per a pre-defined timetable via the Internet in accordance with the criteria and requirements of Cambridge International Examinations Center.
After successfully sitting for the exams, trainees are awarded the Preparatory Course Attendance Certificate as well as the International Diploma in IT Skills issued by Cambridge University, noting that both certificates are certified by the Omani Ministry of Manpower.
Since its establishment, the Institute has successfully held more than 300 training courses and provided the local market with more than 4500 highly qualified and competent individuals. In addition, more than 175 Arab certified accountants have acquired the certificate from the Institute over the period 1999-2008 as part of its contribution to providing the local market with internationally qualified local staff. Furthermore, more than 10000 Omani trainees have received the International Diploma in IT Skills issued by Cambridge University over the last three years.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Cambridge IT Skills Center (TAG-CambridgeIT) was established as a result of an agreement that was signed on June 18, 2001 between the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAGI), and the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) to deliver IT training courses through website together with the additional learning resources.
